Australia has a great many insects and things, many of which are barely or not at all documented.  Most of the beautiful butterfly and caterpillar photo's you'll find here are from the Lepidoptera Larvae of Australia pages, where you'll find hundreds of photo's of our butterfly's and moths, and much more detailed information.  Photo's of other insects and things have come from wherever I could find them - not an easy task unfortunately.  I even managed to conquer my arachnophobia enough to include a couple of spider photographs - little tiny spiders I admit, but spiders nonetheless.   As well, there are a couple of things that really don't belong here, but there was nowhere else to put them!
